1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the HuntScout mobile application ("App") or web platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

2. Description of Service

HuntScout is an application designed to assist hunters across the United States and Canada with:

  • Viewing private land parcel boundaries and public/Crown land classifications
  • Accessing hunt zone, GMU, and Wildlife Management Unit (WMU) information
  • Tracking hunting seasons and regulations
  • Saving favorite hunting locations and waypoints
  • AI-powered hunting assistance and regulations guidance

The App is intended for informational purposes and field assistance. Always verify local regulations and boundaries with official game agencies before hunting.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Providing accurate and complete information during registration

4. Acceptable Use & Zero Tolerance Policy

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Violate any applicable federal, state, provincial, or local game laws
  • Infringe upon the rights of others or trespass on private property
  • Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the App
Zero Tolerance Policy: HuntScout maintains a zero tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Users who violate this policy will have their content removed and their account suspended or permanently terminated.

5. User-Generated Content & Guidelines

HuntScout includes collaborative features (such as Logbook and Hunting Parties) that allow users to post content and interact with other users. By using these features, you agree that you are solely responsible for your content and grant HuntScout a license to display it within the App for your party.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Always verify hunting regulations with official state or provincial wildlife agencies before hunting.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HuntScout and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
